Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Job Description

For special-purpose machines and process systems, you will be responsible for programming and commissioning the control systems
They perform troubleshooting, repairs, and optimization of machines and equipment
Documentation and reporting are also part of your responsibilities
In addition, you will train employees and instruct them on how to operate the machines

Your Profile

You have successfully completed your training as a state-certified technician specializing in automation technology, or as a mechatronics technician with a focus on automation technology, or have obtained a comparable qualification
You have a strong background in PLC programming using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
Ideally, you have expertise in data communication via TCP/IP and Profibus
Experience with WinCC would be desirable
Your profile is rounded out by a good command of English, a willingness to travel, and a structured approach to work

Job Description

As a sales engineer, you will prepare cost estimates, finalize quotes, and conduct technical contract negotiations
You serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for customers in your area of expertise and, at the same time, act as a liaison within our organization.
You will provide support to existing customers and be responsible for acquiring new customers
You will oversee the project controlling function, focusing on deadlines, budget, quality, risk assessments, and receivables, in coordination with the relevant departments.
Your responsibilities will include developing sales and marketing strategies and creating sales plans, as well as conducting market research and grouping customer requirements.
You will work closely with the product development and project management teams

Your Profile

You hold a master's, bachelor's, or diploma degree in beverage technology, brewing, or mechanical engineering, along with business knowledge
You are an entrepreneurial thinker with strong execution skills and excellent communication skills
With a high level of self-motivation, as well as organizational and negotiation skills, you will drive the company’s business expansion
Your business-level English skills and willingness to travel round out your profile
